Precautions Taken against COVID-19 in Related to Classes Conducted at Devan Nair Institute

25-MAR-2020, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED - Apart from the precautions implemented by the building management at Devan Nair Institute where:

  • All students and visitors with travel history outside of Singapore within the last 14 days are not allowed to enter the building.
  • All students and visitors with fever, characterized by a reading of 37.5 degree Celsius in body temperature, are not allowed to enter the building.
  • Hand sanitizer is made available in the building for use.

Effective from today (25-MAR-2020), Academy of Sports and Exercise Science is taking additional precautions to protect our students and visitors from COVID-19:

  • Hand sanitizer is made available at our premise for use.
  • Students and visitors with flu symptoms are not allowed to enter our premise.
  • The sizes of all classes will be reduced by half to ensure that there is a minimum spacing of one meter among the students attending the course.
  • Distant learning system is put in place for students who choose to remain at home to attend the class. All students will be provided with instructions on how to get connected to our online classrooms.
  • All of our staffs are advised to remain in Singapore. Should there be any urgent needs for any of them to travel out of Singapore, they shall follow the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health to complete a 14-day Leave of Absence.

Academy of Sports and Exercise Science may revise its policies and protocols in related to COVID-19 from time to time in accordance to guidelines set by the government agencies, including but not limited to Ministry of Health, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
