Certified Fitness Specialist
This course introduces the learners to the current methods of assessing energy expenditure and applying the skills in measuring body composition using skinfold calliper. It also aims to develop learners’ skills to apply their knowledge in prescribing and programming exercises for broader community using stack weight, free weight and other exercise equipment. Upon completion, the learners will be proficient in providing instructions for fitness exercises and activities.

A total of 21 hours of lessons and one hour of practical examination.

Prerequisites
In order to register for this course, you will need to have a valid Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.
